Awake at Infusion Coffee Shop
Infusion Coffee Shop is expanding its take-away service, as of March 8th we will be opening from 8 – 10 am for Awake at Infusion Coffee Shop. Awake is an opportunity for early risers to sit down for a coffee with friends or colleagues, or grab a light breakfast snack on their way to work.
Infusion Coffee Shop offers a range of healthy choices, as well as vegan and Fairtrade products, allowing us to maintain a Healthy Living Award – a fact that we are very proud of. We also Proudly Brew Starbucks coffee for your enjoyment. At Infusion we are conscious of our impact to our local environment, and therefore we strive to be environmentally friendly, where possible we use biodegradable or recyclable products.
We have a selection of newspapers for those wanting a quiet relaxing moment, and a widescreen TV broadcasting the latest news for those wishing to keep up with current affairs. We are also able to offer free Wi-Fi and an internet bar for your convenience.

Cafe Science Extra: Depression - who decides what the doctors prescribe?

Dr Pauline Lockhart, from University of Dundee, will lead a discussion on the treatment of depression. Listen to Pauline's talk and join in the discussion at Dundee Science Centre's award winning Infusion Café on Wednesday 10th March at 6.00pm (doors open at 5.30pm). Free admission. Everyone Welcome.
Reclaim
10th March, 7pm - 10pm
Reclaim is a new way to enjoy the science centre. Different, unique and relaxed: this is THE place to socialise, enjoy science, and reclaim the science centre from the kids. Free admission and bar. Over 18s only.
Come along and find out how scientists conduct research and what it takes to become a scientist. In this special event researchers in civil engineering, psychology, chemistry, physics, forensic, computer science and even accountancy shall have their own stand right here in Sensation! They will have different activities for you to try, they will conduct hands-on experiments with students and you can find out what it is really like to do their job!
