Summer Exhibition: Great Apes
1st July - 31st October

One species – humankind – is largely responsible for driving others such as,
chimpanzee, gorilla, and orang-utan, to the verge of extinction. Great Apes gives a unique insight into the plight facing the great apesand includes great ape artefacts, moving footage and stunning imagery. 

Exhibition created by At-Bristol in conjunction with GRASP. Supported by the ReDiscover fund (Millennium Commission, Wellcome Trust and Wolfson Foundation). Featuring photography from Karl Ammann. 
 
 
Junior Exhibition: Fossils and Funny bones
1st July - 31st October

Discover the magic of prehistoric worlds. Through playful and imaginative games and activities, the exhibition stimulates children’s curiosity about the creatures that once walked the Earth.  Ideal for children under 8. Remember, under 4’s go free when accompanied by a payingadult!

Hawaiian Luau Party
Friday 25th July, 6.30pm - 8.30pm 

Come to our tropical paradise for a summer evening of fun, games & hula dancing. Prizes for the best costume so grass skirts, sunglasses, & Hawaiian shirts are a must.

Limber up for the limbo pole, Hula dancing & wacky Pineapple skittles. Disco dancing contest & great prizes to be won!Tickets £10 per child, with accompanying adults free of charge.

October Show: Futuristic Energy
4th – 26th October

Learn about the fuels of the future as hydrogen rockets are launched to dramatically show how this form of energy may hold the key to our future transportation requirements.

'Futuristic Energy' will be repeated regularly throughout the day and is free with the price of admission.

Sensational Halloween Party
31st October

Come along and join in our ghoulish fun and take part in a fancy dress competition.  Advanced booking is essential. 6.30pm - 8.30pm, price to be confirmed.

Great Apes  - this summer, Sensation will be a hive of ape-themed activity and Fossils and Funny Bones will give youngsters the chance to dig for bones.
