Are you interested in the research that is happening around you? Revealing Research is a programme of public events that aims to bring the research performed at Dundee University and the local area to a wider audience.
Our next event - Cafe Science Extra, The Truth about Vaccines
Wednesday 14th January 2009, SensationWhy do some vaccines last a lifetime and others, like the flu vaccine, have to be taken every year? Find out how vaccines work in this exciting Cafe Science Extra event and hear the latest views on the MMR jab for children.
Everyone is welcome to this free event at the Infusion Cafe at Sensation for a 6pm start on Wednesday January 14th 2009.
Come along and hear a local scientist, Hannah Richards, discuss vaccines. Find out more about the amazing science happening all around you in Dundee and how this affects our everyday lives.
The talk starts at 6pm, so get there early in order to get yourself a seat and a tea, coffee or a snack. Doors open at 5:30pm.
